‘Eat Bulaga’ to relocate to a larger studio amid anniversary celebrations

Despite the onslaught of Typhoon Carina in Metro Manila, ‘Eat Bulaga’ broadcasted live from the TV5 studio on Wednesday, continuing its tradition of delivering joy and prizes to its studio audience, Team Bahay, and Team Online.

The Original Dabarkads—Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon—were present, joined by Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo, Miles Ocampo, Carren Eistrup, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Due to the severe weather conditions, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros also stayed in the studio, resulting in the suspension of the ‘Sugod Bahay Mga Kapatid’ segment. Allan K was notably absent, becoming a focal point of jokes among the hosts.

The smaller-than-usual audience was noticeable, with several empty seats filled by the hosts during the ‘Peraphy’ segment. Nonetheless, ‘Eat Bulaga’ continued its charitable efforts, distributing sacks of rice to those affected by the typhoon.

The TVJ trio announced a significant celebration for ‘Eat Bulaga’s’ 46th anniversary on July 30 (Tuesday).

They teased a major announcement regarding the anniversary celebration to be made later this week. Speculation is rife that ‘Eat Bulaga’ might be moving to a larger studio, with rumors suggesting a potential relocation to the Meralco Theater.

After the ‘Peraphy’ segment around 1:45 PM, the hosts concluded the live show earlier than usual, inviting their home and online viewers to watch the replay of ‘Barangay Cinema presents Brgy. Mananay: Nanay, Nanay Paano Ka Nawala,’ which originally aired on June 1.
