‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ star Yukii Takahashi has addressed fans’ burning question regarding her character Camille’s prolonged pregnancy.
In a recent episode of showbiz insider Ogie Diaz’s vlog on Monday, July 22, Yuki clarified why Camille has not yet given birth in the storyline.
“Forty days pa lang po ‘yong tiyan ko sa story. Forty days pa lang po ‘yong buhay namin,” Yuki explained, highlighting the timeline within the series.
Camille’s pregnancy, revealed back in June 2023, involved the character played by McCoy De Leon. Since then, viewers have been puzzled by the absence of a birth scene, leading to various speculations and humorous comments from the audience.
Yukii shared that she often finds the comments amusing. “Every time na makita po nila ako kahit saan, ‘yon po talaga ‘yong tanong. But of course, ‘di ko po talaga alam kung kailan ako manganganak, e,” she said, chuckling.
In a light-hearted response to the fans’ curiosity, Yukii joked, “So, sinasabi ko na lang po ‘pag siguro nakakapaglakad na ‘yong bata. Do’n ko na ilalabas para tipid.”
The speculation about Camille’s pregnancy resurfaced recently after the departure of Elijah Canlas’s character from ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
