In a recent Instagram post, De Leon shared a dramatic scene featuring himself and actress Ivana Alawi, who plays “Bubbles” in the series. The scene shows a bloodied David, De Leon’s character, alongside Coco Martin, who is seen embracing Alawi.
“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng tumatangkilik sa FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. ” De Leon wrote, expressing his gratitude to the show’s viewers. He added a teasing remark, “Hindi pa tayo tapos -David,” indicating that his character’s story is far from over.

Despite rumors last year suggesting that De Leon’s character would exit the show — fueled by a viral image of him lying in a coffin — David remains a strong presence in ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
