Bossjob advocates for healthy work environment for professionals, job seekers in latest ad campaign

In an era where a positive workplace matters, Bossjob, the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered and chat-first career platform for professional hiring in Southeast Asia (SEA), is empowering job seekers in its latest ad campaign, alongside the launch of “Dub it Up with Bossjob” online contest.

The campaign, ‘Changing Job is Changing Boss,’ highlights the importance of finding a job that aligns not only with a job seeker’s skills and interests but also with their desired benefits and manageable workload. This initiative encourages job seekers to prioritize overall job satisfaction and work-life balance, fostering a more thoughtful and strategic approach to job hunting.

A study reveals that 87% of Filipinos experience work-related mental health issues, with 33% reporting burnout in the past year, which is significantly higher than the global average of 20%. Additionally, a study of millennials and Gen Z reveals that key workplace stressors include lack of recognition for their efforts, long working hours, insufficient time to complete tasks, and limited control over their work.

These concerns are further underscored by the Philippines ranking second to last in work-life balance among 60 countries.

In response, Bossjob aims to amplify its support for job seekers in making bold career decisions through innovative tools that simplify job hunting. By leveraging direct chat, AI, and big data, the platform connects top talent with employers, improving matching accuracy, reducing information asymmetry, and increasing recruitment efficiency.

“We push for a good and healthy workplace by connecting professionals with opportunities that align with their values and career goals. Through enhanced matching accuracy and direct chat, we empower job seekers to see highly suitable job openings for them and make informed decisions on their job-hunting journey, solidifying our commitment to having work-life balance.” Bossjob Country Manager Kimberly Chen stated.

Since its launch in 2018, the Philippine-born recruitment platform recently achieved a major milestone, surpassing 4 million registered users in the country. With a growing presence in Asia, including the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, Bossjob aims to reach over 30 million users in SEA by 2026.

Bossjob launches ‘Dub It Up with Bossjob’ online challenge

To further engage job seekers with fun and excitement, Bossjob has launched the “Dub It Up with Bossjob” online challenge.

The contest is open to all and invites participants to showcase their creative flair. To participate, simply dub Bossjob’s commercial audio with your own creative twist. Video entries must be set to public and posted on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok with the hashtags #BossjobPH and #DubItUpWithBossjob and app download link and tag Bossjob’s official social media pages in the caption.

“By leveraging the power of user-generated content, the ‘Dub It Up’ challenge aims to foster a sense of community among job seekers while reinforcing Bossjob’s commitment to creating a positive and engaging job search experience,” Kim shared.

Entries will be judged based on creativity and engagement. The grand prize winner will win a cash prize of Php 55,000. Meanwhile, five runner-up entries will also receive Php 5,000 each. The contest ends on November 7, 2024.
