Xia Vigor, the Filipino-British star who captured audiences’ hearts as a young talent, has chosen to continue her showbiz career in the Philippines rather than pursue studies abroad.
Now 14, Xia has grown from her beginnings as a charming child contestant on ‘It’s Showtime’ to an established young actress and recording artist.
Xia rose to prominence as the first winner of ‘It’s Showtime’s’ kiddie talent segment, which quickly opened doors for her to star in various television projects, including ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids.’
Her career reached new heights in 2019 when she played the role of Ye-seung in the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean hit ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7.’ Co-starring alongside Aga Muhlach, John Arcilla, and Joel Torre, Xia portrayed the daughter of a wrongfully imprisoned father, whose cellmates work to reunite him with his child.
Now, Xia plays as Olive, one of the orphans in the horror flick ‘Nanay Tatay.’ The movie will be part of the line-up of the biggest ‘Sine Sindak’ yet, which will be beld at SM Cinemas from October 30-November 5.

Aside from her acting achievements, Xia has also stepped into music, recently releasing her single ‘Aminin,’ written by Marion Aunor. This latest venture highlights her growing versatility in the entertainment world.
