The inaugural Pawesome Run, hosted by B Hotel Alabang, brought together pet lovers and their furry companions for a heartwarming morning of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. The event, which took place at the scenic Madrigal Business Park, celebrated the unbreakable bond between pets and their owners while raising crucial funds for the Muntinlupa K-9 Search and Rescue Unit.
With a delightful atmosphere and the joyful barks of participating dogs, the 1KM Pet Fun Run by B Hotel Alabang exceeded all expectations. Participants traversed exciting obstacle courses, showcasing their pets’ agility and teamwork. The run successfully raised significant funds that will be utilized by the Muntinlupa K-9 Search and Rescue Unit to purchase essential training materials and equipment. “These donations will greatly enhance our training programs, ensuring our K-9s and handlers are better equipped to respond to emergencies,” said Dr. Pam Hernandez from the Office of the City Veterinarian Muntinlupa and Program Director of the K-9 Search & Rescue Unit. “We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated and supported this initiative.”
Participants were delighted with the gifts and incentives, including race singlets, finisher shirts, and special pet bandanas, which added to the festive atmosphere.
