This is how Carlo Aquino described himself when asked about how his life has changed after tying the knot with actress Charlie Dizon.
In a recent press conference for ‘Hold Me Close,’ an official entry to the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival, the actor opened up about his married life and how it has subtly influenced his outlook and priorities.
When asked if there were significant changes in his life after marriage, Carlo shared, “Hindi rin naman siya masyadong iba sa noong hindi pa kami kasal.
A reporter asked how being married affects his interactions with other people, particularly women. May boundaries na.”
Carlo also reflected on how his relationship with Charlie has positively impacted his demeanor, especially during the filming of Third World Romance in 2023. “Iba na yung warmth. Siguro it comes with age din,” he said, noting his personal growth and maturity in handling various aspects of his life.
In addition to his role as a husband, Carlo is also a father to Mithi, his daughter with former partner Trina Candaza. His experiences as a father and now as a husband have provided him with a more profound sense of responsibility and perspective.
Carlo and Charlie tied the knot on June 9, 2024, marking a new chapter in the actor’s life.
