Kapuso star David Licauco has officially joined the ranks of certified ‘It’s Showtime’ fans!
On Saturday, January 11, David shared his excitement on Facebook after receiving a “Top Fan” badge from the official page of the noontime variety show.
“I just got recognized as one of their top fans! YAAAAAAAAAY,” David wrote, accompanied by a photo from his guest appearance on It’s Showtime last January 8.
His post quickly racked up reactions, with fans expressing their delight over his growing fondness for the show.
David’s appearance on ‘It’s Showtime’ was a memorable one, earning laughs and cheers as he gamely interacted with the hosts.
During the show, Vice Ganda couldn’t resist teasing him. “David, may partner ka ba?” Vice asked playfully. “Wala po, single lang po,” David shyly replied. Vice quipped, “Hoy, tinatanong ko lang sa business, ikaw naman love life agad!” David, laughing, answered, “Single din po sa business.”
One hilarious moment was when the hosts joked that Karylle’s leg was in a cast because of her purple socks. David, taking the joke seriously, asked with concern, “Get well soon. What happened? Why is it in a cast? When did that happen?” The hosts burst into laughter at David’s innocence, with Karylle playing along and saying, “David, sign my cast later, okay?” David eventually caught on and laughed, saying, “Ah, niloloko n’yo lang pala siya dahil violet ‘yung medyas?”
