Singer Gigi de Lana has become the center of controversy after several investors raised complaints about a skincare brand allegedly linked to her.
In his online show ‘Showbiz Updates’, entertainment vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that he has received multiple messages from disgruntled investors seeking answers.
Ogie shared that complaints about “G Cosmetics” have been pouring in, with many claiming that they have invested substantial amounts in the brand.
“Ang daming complaints na dumarating sa akin. Talagang hinahanap nila si Gigi de Lana dahil nag-invest sila dun sa G Cosmetics,” Ogie said.
Investors were reportedly promised that Gigi would actively endorse and promote the brand’s products. However, some alleged that she failed to fulfill this commitment.
“Ang pangako ay si Gigi, todo-todo ang pagpo-promote. Pero hindi raw nagpo-promote. Minsan pa nga raw ay nagpo-promote pa ng kalaban,” Ogie explained.
This alleged lack of promotion, according to investors, has negatively impacted sales. Some even claimed that their issued checks have bounced, prompting them to consider seeking legal assistance.
Frustrated investors have reportedly considered bringing their complaints to public platforms such as Raffy Tulfo’s program. However, according to Ogie, their attempts to reach the show have so far been unsuccessful.
“Paano naman daw ang kanilang pera? Nagtatalbugan pa raw ang kanilang mga cheke,” Ogie said.
Ogie urged Gigi to address the concerns raised by her investors and distributors to avoid further escalation.
“Harapin mo na lamang ‘yang mga investors mo, kasi nga daw ang sumbong nila sa akin ay hindi nabibili ang kanilang mga produkto dahil hindi ka raw nagpo-promote. Pangalawa, hindi raw effective ‘yung iyong G Cosmetics kaya medyo ‘di nabibili.”
As of this writing, Gigi de Lana has yet to release an official statement regarding the accusations. Fans and the public are waiting for her side of the story to clarify the allegations and resolve the issue.
