Speculations are growing that Kathryn Bernardo is set to return to Dreamscape Entertainment for a new teleserye, marking her first project with the production unit in 15 years.
Fans were quick to notice Kathryn’s photo on a screen during Dreamscape’s recent creative summit, sparking excitement about her potential return to the ABS-CBN subsidiary that produced her breakthrough teleserye, ‘Mara Clara’, in 2010.
Kathryn was supposed to star in a 2020 Dreamscape teleserye titled ‘Tanging Mahal’ with Daniel Padilla, but the project was shelved due to the pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown.
No official announcements have been made by Dreamscape or ABS-CBN, but fans are already making their wishes known, calling for James Reid or Enrique Gil to be Kathryn’s leading man in the rumored teleserye.
Kathryn’s last teleserye appearance was in 2022’s ‘2 Good 2 Be True’, where she starred opposite her former partner Daniel Padilla. Meanwhile, James Reid last appeared in ‘Till I Met You’ in 2017, also produced by Dreamscape.
If confirmed, this project could be one of the biggest television events of the year, bringing Kathryn Bernardo back to where her career first soared.
