GMA Network’s newest afternoon drama, ‘Prinsesa ng City Jail (PNCJ),’ captured the hearts of viewers with a strong debut, quickly earning attention and success.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, PNCJ premiered at the top of the afternoon drama block, seamlessly taking over the position previously held by its predecessor, ‘Shining Inheritance.’
During its launch on Monday, January 13, 2025, with a solid 7.2% rating, landing in the 7th spot on the overall ratings chart.
In their Instagram post, GMA Drama quickly expressed gratitude to their loyal viewers, saying:

On its second day, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, PNCJ maintained its 7.2% rating and retained its number 7 position.
By Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the series experienced a boost, climbing to 7.6% while holding steady in the 7th spot.
However, Thursday, January 16, 2025, saw a slight dip as the ratings dropped to 7.1%, though it remained at number 7.
On Friday, January 17, 2025, PNCJ registered its lowest rating of the week at 6.1%, marking a 1.0% decrease from the previous day, but it managed to sustain its leaderboard ranking.
‘Prinsesa ng City Jail’ airs weekdays at 3:20 PM on GMA Network and is streamed simultaneously on GMA Network’s YouTube channel, Kapuso Stream.
