Kapuso star Rhian Ramos is set to host a new lifestyle program on GMA Network, temporarily taking over the time slot of Representative Sam Verzosa’s public service show ‘Dear SV’.

Verzosa, who is running for mayor of Manila in the May 2025 elections, will take a leave of absence from his program starting March.
In a media gathering during the final taping of ‘Dear SV’ in Quiapo, Manila, Verzosa confirmed the news, expressing confidence in Ramos’s ability to connect with audiences through her new show.
“Si Rhian muna ang ipapalit…kung ano yung mga passion niya, like travel, food, lifestyle show. Actually, napaka-supportive ni Rhian,” Verzosa shared, adding that GMA Network will officially announce the title and format of the show in the coming weeks. “Parang parehong project pa rin namin. Pareho kasi kami ni Rhian ng mga passion, hobbies. Puwedeng siya ang magtuloy dahil may mga limitasyon muna kasi ako.”

As Verzosa focuses on his mayoral bid, he emphasized the need to temporarily step back from hosting duties, citing election regulations. He expressed hope to return to Dear SV after the elections, provided he has the time and opportunity to do so.

The congressman’s public service program has gained popularity for its KKK (Kalusugan, Kaalaman, Kabuhayan) initiatives, which include medical missions, scholarship grants, and livelihood assistance to Filipinos in need.
“I am grateful and humbled, lalo na two years pa lang sa telebisyon ang Dear SV. Kahit dalawang taon pa lang ang show ko, marami na ang nakaka-appreciate ng mga ginagawa namin sa programa,” Verzosa said.

Ramos’s upcoming show is expected to build on her personal interests and previous experiences. Known for her natural charm and relatability, Ramos has been actively involved in Verzosa’s advocacy work, making her well-prepared to bring a unique perspective to the new program.
Aside from hosting, Ramos has kept herself busy with other projects, including her role in the highly anticipated GMA Network fantasy series ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’. She recently shared her passion for baking, launching her own line of chocolate chip cookies, which fans can order online.
Fans of Verzosa’s ‘Dear SV’ will miss the congressman’s brand of public service for the time being, but the introduction of Ramos’s lifestyle show promises to add a fresh and engaging element to GMA Network’s lineup.
The new program is set to air in March 2025, with more details expected to be revealed soon by GMA Network.
