Kapuso actress Herlene Budol revealed that she sought professional help to move on from the controversies that surrounded her and her ‘Magandang Dilag’ co-stars Rob Gomez and Bianca Manalo in 2023.

During the press conference for her upcoming series ‘Binibining Marikit’ on Monday, Herlene shared that she underwent psychological therapy to process the difficult experience.
“Nagpa-psych ako para mas ma-process siya nang maayos sa ‘kin [kung] bakit may mga ganoong klaseng tao na kailangan kang hilahin pababa,” she told members of the press.
She admitted that the accusations thrown at her were heavy, making it a challenging time in her life.
“Mabigat po eh na paratang sa akin kaya mahirap ‘yung sitwasyon ko noon,” she added.
Despite the controversy, Herlene has since moved on and is now focused on improving her craft as an actress.
The issue stemmed from viral screenshots in 2023 that allegedly hinted at an affair involving Herlene, Bianca, and Rob. Herlene defended herself against the rumors, saying, “‘Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue!”
Bianca Manalo also addressed the speculation, clarifying, “Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts, and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport.”
Meanwhile, Rob claimed in an exclusive interview with PEP that his phone was taken and used without his consent.
Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy, ‘Binibining Marikit’ is set to premiere on February 10 on GMA Afternoon Prime. The series stars Herlene Budol alongside Tony Labrusca, Pokwang, and Thea Tolentino.
