Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega has quickly become a trending topic following her bold and unexpected moments inside the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ house.
Despite only entering the house on March 9, Ortega has already drawn attention for her candid confessions and playful antics.
One of the first revelations that caught viewers’ attention was Ortega’s emotional conversation with fellow housemate Ivana Alawi, where she admitted that she has not spoken to her mother for the past three years.
“Three years na akong living alone, ako lang mag-isa. Galit pa rin siya sa akin. I haven’t spoken to her in three years,” Ortega shared, visibly emotional.
Her statement quickly gained traction online, sparking discussions about her personal struggles.
Following her heartfelt confession, Ortega lightened the mood with a humorous moment involving her boyfriend, Kapuso actor Mavy Legaspi. In a playful exchange, she asked him to smell her underarms—a challenge he willingly accepted. Fellow housemate Josh Ford, who witnessed the scene, laughed at their antics.
The clip quickly went viral, with netizens sharing mixed reactions. While some found the moment entertaining, others joked that Legaspi’s mother, actress Carmina Villarroel, might not approve.
Ortega made waves again when she openly shared her first impression of fellow housemate Ralph de Leon.
“Si Ralph naman, huwag kang magagalit ha, pero actually, mas nakikilala na nga kita ngayon. Nung una kasi parang too good to be true ka—mukha kang Superman, maayos ka manamit, tapos you’re so buff. Too good to be true. So naisip ko, baka bakla ‘to. That is why, siguro, you are like this because you are sheltered, you are well-educated,” Ortega remarked.
Though Ralph’s reaction was not shown, Legaspi, who was beside Ortega, laughed at her honesty. However, some fans criticized her comment, finding it inappropriate despite her attempt to soften it by telling Ralph not to take offense.
With Ortega’s outspoken nature making headlines, some viewers speculate that she may be the first to be evicted from the PBB house. While it remains uncertain, fans of Mavy Legaspi believe he wouldn’t mind seeing his girlfriend exit early, as he has expressed missing her.
Ralph de Leon, a rising ABS-CBN talent, gained recognition through the youth-oriented series ‘Zoomers’. Beyond acting, he has a range of interests, including video games and anime, with ‘Demon Slayer’ and ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ among his favorites.
Aside from entertainment, de Leon is also musically inclined, having learned to play the piano in his early years. He is also an athlete, having been part of the Ateneo Men’s Judo Team and winning a gold medal in local and international competitions. Fans hope to see him showcase his judo skills inside the PBB house.
