Rain or Shine swingman, Caelan Tiongson, urged kindness and understanding amidst a wave of hateful comments directed at him, following rumors of an alleged romantic link to BINI member, Aiah Arceta. The rumors gained traction after fans spotted Arceta attending one of Tiongson’s games, leading to speculations about the nature of their relationship.
Tiongson, who plays in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), took to his social media accounts to address the backlash he received from fans, stating, “Praying for those who spread hateful comments, this morning. If you like to throw it my way, that’s fine. But family, friends, and teammates are undeserving of it. Nevertheless, I hope you have a blessed day!”
The rumors intensifed when photos and videos circulated online showing Arceta supporting Tiongson at a recent game, prompting flurry of online gossip and speculation about a potential romance. However, Tiongson has previously attempted to clarify the nature of his relationship, with the BINI member, emphasizing that they are merely acquaintances.
“I met her through a mutual friend and she’s a great person, but I’m not gonna speak about her personal life anymore than tyhat, “ he stated, hoping to quell the rampant speculation.
Aiah, and her talent management, are yet release an official statement on the matter, and while rumors persist, she was caught liking tweets on X by fans, who support her, as well as Tiongson’s clarification on the matter.
