Filipino-Australian content creator and singer Chloe San Jose is making her mark in the music industry with the release of two new singles under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label this March.

Her first single, ‘FR FR’ (short for ‘For Real, For Real’), will be released on Friday, March 7. Written by Trisha Denise and produced by StarPop label head Rox Santos, the song highlights the importance of embracing one’s authenticity and uniqueness.
Following this, her second single, ‘Nonchalant’, is set for release on March 21. This Tagalog track encourages listeners to remain unfazed by negativity and toxic environments, with Santos and Denise also collaborating on its production.
Chloe initially gained recognition for her song covers on social media, amassing nearly 500,000 YouTube subscribers and over 1.3 million TikTok followers.
Her 2021 debut single, ‘Aking Pagmamahal’, became a viral hit, garnering over 1.7 million streams on Spotify and 30 million views on YouTube, further cementing her status as an emerging artist.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Chloe shared her excitement about officially launching her career as a recording artist.
“From the title, [‘FR FR’] is just about being real and authentic to people and to myself as well,” she said.
She also reflected on her journey in music, revealing that it has been a long-time passion.
