TV5’s beloved karaoke game show ‘Sing Galing’ is making a much-awaited comeback after two years, bringing in fresh twists, new talents, and an exciting lineup of judges and hosts for Season 3.
Returning as “singmasters” are Randy Santiago, K Brosas, and Donita Nose, who will once again lead the fun-filled competition. The show also welcomes back its panel of “jukebosses,” including Ariel Rivera, Allan K, Jessa Zaragoza, Ethel Booba, and OPM hitmaker Rey Valera, who will serve as the head judge.
For the latest season, ‘Sing Galing’ expands its lineup with new “jukebosses”—Ella May Saison, Nina, Mitoy Yonting, and multi-awarded composer Vehnee Saturno.
Adding a modern twist to the show are popular social media personalities, known as “singtokers,” who will provide additional entertainment and engagement. These include Queenay, Gab Pascual, Ari G, and Yanyan De Jesus.
Meanwhile, the first-ever grand champion of ‘Sing Galing,’ Marimar, returns as a co-host for the online segment ‘NOW ZENDING’ alongside Zendee, bringing a fresh digital component to the show.
During the ‘Media Videoke-Con’ press event held at Rockstar KTV in Greenhills, the show’s hosts and judges revealed what they’re looking for in the next champion.
Mitoy Yonting emphasized the importance of a unique voice and distinct performance style as key factors in selecting a winner.
Randy Santiago and K Brosas pointed out that luck plays a crucial role, especially in song selection. Santiago explained, “Even the best singers can struggle if they randomly get a song that doesn’t fit their voice.”
Jessa Zaragoza clarified that the competition isn’t just about hitting high notes. “It’s about showmanship and personality. We want to see contestants who can connect with the audience,” she said.
Ella May Saison shared that their goal is to motivate contestants and boost their confidence.
Ethel Booba added, “It’s not always about vocal power; it’s about how well you deliver the song.”
Vehnee Saturno highlighted the importance of post-show support. “Winning is just the beginning. The next step is helping these artists release original songs and build their careers.”
Unlike previous seasons, Season 3 will feature live mall performances as part of its monthly finals, allowing fans to experience the excitement up close.
