The box office superstar is among the celebrities honored by the tax-collection agency as top tax payers for the year 2024.

Vice Ganda expressed his gratitude to the Bureau of Internal Revenue o B.I.R., for recognizing him as one of the top-paying celebrities for the year 2024, during the March 5 airing of the noontime show, It’s Showtime. The tax-collection body recently held a ceremony, where various celebrities, including Vice and his fellow It’s Showtime hosts, Kim Chiu and Darren Espanto, are honored for upholding their tax responsibility.
Highlighting the significance of such honor and its broader implications for the Filipino community, Vice urged the Madlang people to do the same, and reminded the viewers that fulfilling their tax obligations entitles them to demand transparency and accountability from the government.
“Pagkatapos nating magbayad ng buwis ay mararamdaman na natin ang ating karapatan na magtanong sa pamahalan at sa mga tumatanggap ng ibinabayad natin, kung saan napupunta ang mga buwis na ito, “ he stated, encouraging everyone to become proactive in understanding the impact of their contributions in nation building.
