Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara has finally spoken up — through her management, Sparkle GMA Artist Center — about the ongoing drama surrounding her breakup with basketball player Kobe Paras.
In an official statement released by Sparkle, the ‘Luv Is: Love at First Read’ star expressed her desire to move forward from the issue that has dominated social media in recent weeks.
“Kyline would like to move on with this issue,” the statement read. “She has chosen to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life. She hopes we can all move on and put this issue to rest.”
The statement comes after Kobe’s mother, Jackie Forster, posted a lengthy video revealing alleged reasons behind the couple’s breakup, including accusations of toxic behavior and physical aggression on Kyline’s part. Jackie’s revelations sparked a firestorm online, with both camps facing intense public scrutiny.
In defense of the actress, Zamantha Rose — the girlfriend of Kyline’s brother Robin Alcantara — broke her silence to challenge the narrative being pushed online.
“Kyline is not, and has never been, manipulative or abusive. She has been nothing but supportive toward Kobe,” Zamantha wrote in her Instagram Stories.
“To publicly damage her reputation with false claims, especially when she has done nothing to deserve it, is deeply wrong.”
Zamantha added that if the intention was to resolve things amicably, it should have been done privately, not through “public attacks disguised as concern.”
She also clarified her reason for stepping forward, saying: “It’s painful for those who truly know and care for Kyline to watch her name be dragged through the mud… Stories are never one-sided.”
Meanwhile, Jackie Forster remains vocal on social media, posting cryptic quotes and calling out what she described as misdirected hate, while keeping her comment section limited.
As both camps continue to speak out, Kyline seems intent on preserving her peace — choosing silence and grace over confrontation.
LionhearTV remains open to future statements from Kyline, Kobe, or Jackie on this matter.
