Talent agency Star Magic has issued a public clarification denying the involvement of rising singer Carmelle Collado in an upcoming Independence Day celebration organized by FilSoc in Dubai.

The event, scheduled for June 14, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Center, had reportedly included Collado’s name in some promotional materials—prompting the agency to address the misinformation.
“We’d like to clarify that Polaris Artist #CarmelleCollado is NOT affiliated with FilSoc’s Independence Day Celebration on June 14, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Center,” read Star Magic’s official statement released on Friday.
“Be cautious of false advertisements that may suggest otherwise. Let’s support our favorite artists by verifying event lineups through official channels.”
Collado, the grand champion of ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown’, has been gaining popularity following her victory. She recently graduated from senior high school in Camarines Sur with honors, continuing to serve as an inspiration to young aspiring performers.
Star Magic reminded fans to always check legitimate sources for artist appearances and updates.
