GMA Network, the Philippines’ leading media company, proudly continues its legacy of journalistic integrity and public service with “Eleksyon 2025: The GMA Integrated News Coverage”—delivering the biggest, most comprehensive, and most trusted election coverage.

Starting at 4 a.m. on May 12 (Election Day), GMA and GTV bring Eleksyon 2025 to over 38 million viewers nationwide. The special broadcast continues through May 13, tracking national and local election results. The special coverage spans some of the most significant provinces and cities, areas with tight local races, and identified election areas of concern.

Known for its comprehensive coverage of the elections, GMA Integrated News is all set to deliver the fastest, most relevant, and most accurate election-related news and content across all platforms.

The Most Trusted Broadcast Journalists

Leading the special coverage are the country’s most trusted GMA Integrated News journalists: Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, Arnold Clavio, and Howie Severino, together with Emil Sumangil, Pia Arcangel, Ivan Mayrina, Atom Araullo, Kara David, Susan Enriquez, Connie Sison, Raffy Tima, Mariz Umali, Sandra Aguinaldo, Maki Pulido, and the full roster of reporters nationwide.

Throughout May 12, GMA Integrated News provides up-to-the-minute information through special programming—from Unang Bugso in the morning to flagship newscast 24 Oras and late night newscast Saksi on GMA. On GTV, viewers can catch simulcasts of GMA’s programming, as well as Dobol B TV, Balitanghali, and State of the Nation.

In full force to bring the Kapuso Network’s expansive election coverage on television, radio, and online are GMA’s 60 election coverage partners, over 800 strong on-air and online journalists and staff and crew, with 7 GMA Regional TV stations, and 21 radio stations nationwide.

GMA’s state-of-the-art equipment and the latest media technology, used to deliver engaging and compelling content for today’s viewers, ably complement its top-notch news reporting. As GMA has consistently demonstrated in past elections, viewers can expect the delivery of fast and accurate information. Cutting-edge graphics are utilized to give the public a better understanding of this midterm election.

The special coverage is further enriched by live interviews featuring election officials and key resource persons, offering voter assistance, education, and in-depth analysis—alongside immersive stories that provide valuable context.

Multi-Platform Coverage Anchored on “Dapat Totoo”

Anchored on the Network’s election advocacy campaign “Dapat Totoo,” “Eleksyon 2025: The GMA Integrated News Coverage” commits to delivering news that is accurate, easy to understand, comprehensive, and above all, true — Dapat Totoo.

As part of its #LocalNewsMatters campaign, GMA Regional TV reaffirms its commitment to delivering relevant and timely community news through its flagship unified newscasts: One North Central Luzon, Balitang Bisdak, One Western Visayas, and One Mindanao. Over 62 Regional TV and Digital news teams and stringers will be deployed to key local races across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Round-the-clock updates will be available on www.regionaltv.com and the official social media platforms of GMA Regional TV and its regional news programs.

On radio, “Eleksyon 2025, Super Radyo DZBB Special Coverage” airs from the afternoon of Sunday, May 11, until 6 PM on Tuesday, May 13. Leading the nationwide coverage is GMA’s flagship AM station Super Radyo DZBB 594 in coordination with 20 Super Radyo and Barangay FM stations nationwide in 16 key areas: Mega Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Palawan, General Santos, and Kalibo, as well as Bacolod, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Dagupan, Legazpi, Lucena, Naga, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Over 200 news personnel, anchors, talents, and support staff are mobilized to ensure comprehensive election reporting. Election-related stories and specials will also air before and after the main coverage period. The special coverage is simulcast on Dobol B TV on GTV from 5:30 to 9:00 AM. Social media and streaming platforms will carry extended content from Super Radyo DZBB 594 throughout the election period.

Global Pinoys can stay informed with live, real-time updates from all GMA Integrated News programs airing on GMA Network’s international channels—GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV.

As part of its Eleksyon 2025 coverage, GMA Integrated News Online launched eleksyon2025.ph, the network’s dedicated digital platform for comprehensive and real-time coverage of the 2025 Philippine elections. A collaboration between GMA News Online and the Network’s other departments, the microsite is designed for desktop and mobile users and offers up-to-the-minute news and updates throughout the campaign and election period.

Among its key features is MyKodigo, a customizable tool that allows voters to create, save, and print a personalized list of candidates ahead of election day. The platform also includes detailed Candidate Profiles, a Voter’s Education hub, and a Voter’s Profile section featuring demographic insights based on official COMELEC data. A collaborative effort between GMA News Online, and other GMA departments, the platform leverages COMELEC servers to ensure accuracy and reliability. Eleksyon2025.ph is also accessible through the GMA News Online mobile app, available on the Apple App and Google Play Stores.

With technology support from GMA New Media, Inc. (GMA NMI), the Network’s forerunner in technology, real-time election results will be published in partnership with the COMELEC, as soon as data is available on the COMELEC media server. GMA’s election livestream is also accessible via GMA News Online.

Digital Initiatives

GMA Integrated News’ Social Media Team further strengthens its public service through innovative digital initiatives, starting with the launch of #Eleksyonaryo: The Dapat Totoo Digital Exclusives, which now has over 11 million views. Divided into three engaging segments, it features mini-PSAs and Q&As using Gen Z terms to explain electoral concepts, man-on-the-street interviews capturing voters’ voices, and an Ask-Me-Anything session with COMELEC Chairman George Garcia.

Alongside this, GMA Integrated News reintroduced YouScoop+, its user-generated content platform, allowing viewers to share their stories through photos and videos. The network also hosted the YouScoop+ Bootcamp, where over 100 students from partner schools learned how to monitor social media content, identify trends, verify facts, and assist in running the Digital Action Center (DAC) on Election Day. The DAC, launching for the first time this year, will serve as a hub for voters to submit questions and contribute content, with regional counterparts in Dagupan City, Cebu City, Bacolod City, Iloilo City, Davao City, General Santos City, and Cagayan de Oro City, ensuring nationwide engagement and timely, accurate election coverage.

With 115 television stations and 21 radio stations nationwide, reaching over 38 million viewers and more than 93 million followers and subscribers online, expect GMA Network to deliver the biggest, the most comprehensive, and the most accessible election coverage this #Eleksyon2025.
