Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara opened up about being in a “stressful era” of her life — a season, she says, where she’s fully surrendering to God’s plan, in Ivana Alawi’s latest vlog upload.

The two actresses spent a rainy day food-tripping through Tondo, Manila, sampling a variety of local street food including fish balls, kikiam, and isaw. But in between bites and laughter, the conversation turned introspective, revealing more than just their foodie cravings.
When asked about her current mindset, Kyline shared, “Right now, I’m in this season of being obedient sa kung anumang gustong gawin ng Panginoong Diyos natin kasi nai-stress na ako,” she said.
Kyline also revealed that she turns to prayer to deal with heavy emotions and unclear circumstances.
“Isang prayer ko lang na ‘kung sino man ang hindi dapat nasa buhay ko, tanggalin mo na.’ Mabilis Siyang magtrabaho, tanggal agad,” she said with a small laugh.
Her honesty resonated with Ivana, who offered her own piece of advice: “I-surrender mo lang,” to which Kyline agreed, “Yes, surrender everything to God.”
The moment was a rare and vulnerable glimpse into the emotional life of the young star, who has kept her silence amid recent controversy involving her breakup with Kobe Paras and public statements made by his mother, Jackie Forster. Despite the noise, Kyline has chosen not to respond publicly, opting instead for peace and personal growth.
The vlog also touched on the supernatural — another topic Kyline and Ivana unexpectedly bonded over. The conversation started lightheartedly, with Ivana expressing interest in doing a horror film where she’d like to play a ghost. But things got spooky when she revealed a past experience: “May time na ‘pag nag-a-out of town ako tapos bumabalik ako, may sumusunod? Bumubukas ‘yung ilaw ko sa bahay, pramis! Nagpa-bless ulit ako ng whole house,” Ivana shared.
Kyline, on the other hand, shared her approach to dealing with strange energies.
“Alam mo kapag gano’n, kinakausap ko… Halimbawa nasa hotel kami, may nararamdaman akong heavy energy, ang ginagawa ko, sinasabi ko na ‘nandito ako pansamantala lang,’” she said.
Between ghost stories and gospel truths, the vlog proved to be more than a street food adventure — it was a moment of sisterhood and soul-baring that resonated deeply with their fans.
