Jinkee Pacquiao did not hold back on social media after coming across paid political ads branding her husband, senatorial candidate and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, as a “clown.”
In a Facebook post, Jinkee criticized the smear campaign, calling out those allegedly spending large sums of money to damage Manny’s reputation ahead of the 2025 midterm elections.
“Ang daming paid ads sa feed ko. Here’s one saying that Manny is a ‘CLOWN’,” she wrote. “Mas funny yung idea na they spend a lot of money in running negative campaign. Instead of helping those in need, mas gusto nila manghamak, mag-hate and troll.”
She then took a swipe at Pacquiao’s rivals: “Laki mga pera ng mga kalaban ni Manny sa senate.”
Jinkee also shared a screenshot of a paid ad costing between P4,000 to P5,000, suggesting the extent of money being used to fund attacks against her husband online.
Supporters flocked to the comment section of her post, with many encouraging the Pacquiao family to ignore the negativity. One commenter noted, “Don’t worry about the negative campaign against Pacquiao, ibig sabihin noon angat si Pacquiao sa kalaban.”
As of this writing, Manny Pacquiao has yet to issue a statement addressing the alleged smear campaign.
