Converge launches Super FiberX: A new era of home internet with Wi-Fi 6 and SkyTV access

Fresh from winning its third consecutive Ookla® Speedtest Award™ for Fastest Fixed Network, Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has unveiled its next-generation home internet offering — Super FiberX — designed to elevate the digital lifestyle of Filipino households with faster speeds, smarter connectivity, and greater value.

Building on the foundation of its popular FiberX service, the new Super FiberX plans now integrate Wi-Fi 6 technology and access to SkyTV channels through the Converge Xperience Hub, a Google-certified Android TV box that also supports streaming apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Spotify.

“Over the years, we’ve always strived to deliver faster, more accessible internet to our customers,” said Benjamin Azada, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of Converge. “We’ve taken speeds from 35 Mbps to 400 Mbps in a matter of years — 11 times faster. Equally important, we’ve maintained our prices despite inflation, reducing the cost per Mbps by over 90%, from P45 down to just P4 per Mbps.”

The Super FiberX MAX plan, priced at ₱1,599, delivers speeds of up to 400 Mbps — making it ideal for households juggling streaming, remote work, online learning, and gaming. Meanwhile, the Super FiberX PLAY plan starts at just ₱1,349 for 200 Mbps, while the top-tier Super FiberX ULTRA plan offers up to 800 Mbps for more demanding, device-heavy households.

The plans come bundled with the Xperience Hub and SkyTV access of up to 54 channels, transforming any standard TV into a smart entertainment hub.

“The Converge Xperience Hub, equipped with SkyTV and offering up to 54 channels, sets the stage for future enhancements in our residential offerings,” Azada added.

All Super FiberX plans feature Wi-Fi 6-enabled routers, which offer better performance across multiple devices, wider coverage, and improved energy efficiency. The new technology supports features like Target Wake Time (TWT), reducing power consumption for connected devices by up to 41%.

“Converge understands that Filipinos are not just looking for fast internet– they are after real value,” the company said. “Super FiberX focuses on what speed makes possible: smoother workdays, seamless entertainment, and stronger everyday connections.”

Existing subscribers can now upgrade their FiberX plans for only ₱99 more to enjoy the full Super FiberX package. This includes the upgraded router with Wi-Fi 6, SkyTV access, and the smart streaming capabilities of the Xperience Hub.

“Think about what ₱99 can get you today—maybe a cup of coffee or milk tea. But with Converge, that same ₱99 unlocks a complete digital lifestyle boost,” the company emphasized.

Converge is also engaging its subscriber base through FiberX Unlockables, a gamified community rewards program. Customers can vote, share, and interact to unlock collective milestones for digital prizes, gadgets, staycations, and more — with a live tracker showing progress across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

To make fast and reliable internet more accessible, Converge has waived its ₱2,500 installation fee, lowering the barrier for new subscribers nationwide.

With over 700,000 kilometers of fiber optic infrastructure, Converge now operates the largest Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network in the Philippines. Utilizing automation, predictive maintenance, and zero-touch operations, the company continues to lead the way in delivering efficient, future-proof digital solutions. For more information or to apply for a Super FiberX plan, visit https://www.convergeict.com/apply-for-fiberx/.
