GMA Pictures’ upcoming horror film “P77” will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, as announced in a contract signing held today, June 16, at GMA Network Center. “P77” is the seventh local film to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Attending for GMA Pictures were GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President and GMA Public Affairs Senior Vice President Nessa Valdellon.
Signing for Warner Bros. Pictures was its Distribution Director Rico V. Gonzales.
Gracing the event were “P77” lead star Barbie Forteza, director Derick Cabrido, and writer Enrico Santos.
Through this agreement, Warner Bros. Pictures will take on the role of handling the local theatrical distribution of “P77.”
“I’m very happy that Warner is our partner here in the distribution of this film, and I believe that together, we can ensure the success of this film more and bring this movie to a wider audience,” said Atty. Gozon-Valdes.
“I’m honored to be here partnering with GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs for the next release of the local movie release of Warner Bros. I’m also very honored to be here, thank you for welcoming our partnership. We’ve been talking about this since last year and now we’re here. This is actually our 7th local movie to be distributed by Warner Bros. So I’m hoping, GMA 7 and P77, it’s going to be the Lucky 7 for this film,” expressed Gonzales.
Also present during the contract signing were GMA Public Affairs’ Senior Assistant Vice President Angelie Atienza; Viewer-Directed Marketing Senior Assistant Vice President Rossette Roa; and Assistant Vice President for Corporate Communications Jojo Aquio.
P77 (Penthouse 77) is a psychological horror film based on a story by Anj Atienza and Kristian Julao.
