Kapamilya actress and singer Belle Mariano extended a helping hand to families affected by flooding in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal on Wednesday, July 24, earning praise for her compassion and sincerity.

Mariano visited the Hapay na Mangga Elementary School Evacuation Center to personally assist in distributing rice and grocery packs to displaced residents. The initiative was in coordination with Barangay Dolores officials, including Kapitan Inye Pacleb and Kagawad Ronnie Taronek Dizon.

In her brief message to evacuees, Mariano expressed gratitude and encouraged unity and faith amid hardship.
Patuloy tayong magtulungan, at andito lang po ako bilang karamay,” she said.
Mariano’s presence was described by locals as a “ray of sunshine” amid the gloom brought by days of intense rainfall and widespread flooding caused by the southwest monsoon, worsened by Tropical Storms Crising, Emong, and Dante.
