Donny Pangilinan joined fellow Kapamilya artists in bidding an emotional farewell to the ABS-CBN Millennium Transmitter, posting a photo of the iconic tower on his social media with a simple yet powerful caption: “❤️.”

The heartfelt tribute, using the signature Kapamilya colors, resonated with fans and fellow stars as the network marked the final lighting of the Millennium Transmitter on July 9. The moment symbolized the end of a historic chapter for ABS-CBN, whose Quezon City compound—partially sold to Ayala Land earlier this year—served as home to countless careers and memories.

Donny, whose journey with ABS-CBN began in 2016 as a MYX VJ, reflected what many in the industry feel: deep gratitude to the network that launched and nurtured their artistic paths. From being a host on ‘ASAP’, he transitioned to acting with ‘Playhouse’ in 2018, and later became one-half of the hit love team DonBelle in ‘He’s Into Her’, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, and ‘How to Spot a Red Flag’.
He most recently served as a judge on ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’, further solidifying his place as one of the network’s most recognizable young stars.
Alongside Donny, other ABS-CBN personalities shared memories and messages of thanks as they posed one last time with the transmitter tower—a structure that has stood as a beacon of Filipino entertainment for decades.
