Bianca de Vera is proving to be one of the most sought-after young stars today, with back-to-back fan meets that have fans buzzing about her onscreen chemistry with both Dustin Yu and Will Ashley.
On Thursday, she joined Dustin for the DustBi fan event, and on Friday, she reunited with Will for the WillCa gathering—prompting netizens to say her hair must be “extra long” to handle all the attention.
As love teams continue to be at the core of fan culture, de Vera finds herself in the middle of two beloved onscreen tandems. She and Will Ashley first paired up in the 2023 drama ‘Unbreak My Heart’, sparking the popular WillCa fandom. However, during their stint on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, de Vera’s close bond with Dustin Yu gave rise to a new pairing, DustBi.
In an interview aired on ’24 Oras’, Will Ashley addressed ongoing speculations of a love triangle.
“Triangle? Wow. Honest, wala pong naging triangle talaga sa loob ng bahay. Alam po lahat ng mga housemates ‘yan,” he said, adding that the perception likely came from his past work with Bianca.
He also responded to Dustin Yu’s earlier admission of feeling jealous. “That, I don’t know. We had a talk na parang ‘yun nga po, na support ko sila, nagiging honest ako dun at sinasabi kong buo na sinusuportahan ko siya,” Will said. “Masaya ako sa naging storya nilang dalawa at sana talaga madala nila sa labas.”
Yu made his confession on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ last July 2, saying, “Nung hindi pa sa’kin clear ‘yung ano man meron sila sa past, ‘yung medyo magulo pa. Of course, yeah, nagselos ako, naguguluhan ako, Tito Boy.”
He clarified that after heartfelt conversations with both Bianca and Will, he understood there was nothing to worry about. “Noong nag-usap na kami ni Will at nag-usap na rin kami ni Bianca na wala naman ako dapat pagselosan… naintindihan ko na ‘yun,” Dustin explained.
Meanwhile, de Vera defended Yu from being labeled as controlling, saying, “Naniniwala akong matalino akong tao and if I did see those signs kay Dustin, I would’ve [distanced] myself from him as soon as I can… He really took care of me and he was very consistent from Day 1.”
The trio’s dynamic was also highlighted in PBB’s ‘Defend Your Duo’ segment, where netizens questioned Will for not rekindling his friendship with Bianca. His partner Ralph de Leon explained, “It was all about respect. It was all about boundaries… Will chose to give them that space.”
As WillCa and DustBi continue to trend online, Bianca maintains a graceful balance between both partnerships. Whether it’s through fan events or onscreen projects, she remains at the center of fan love and speculation.
