In the face of relentless rains and widespread flooding, Kapuso stars came together to show the true spirit of bayanihan by joining the relief efforts of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
Led by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, several Sparkle and GMA Network personalities volunteered their time and energy to help communities affected by the recent extreme weather.
Among the artists who actively participated were Sparkle stars Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Aya Domingo, Jess Martinez, Mad Ramos, and Arnold Reyes.
Support also came from Sparkle talent and Army reservist Ronnie Liang, along with Tessbomb Maranon and Cloud 7 artists Kairo Lazarte and Johann Nepomuceno, who joined the relief distribution efforts in Rizal. John Vic De Guzman and Tart Carlos assisted in the repacking of goods.
In Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, Shaira Diaz and Unang Hirit host Suzie Entrata-Abrera helped distribute relief packs, while Rocco Nacino and Lexi Gonzales pitched in at the Tandang Sora warehouse to repack donations.
More volunteers included Ysabel Ortega, Shuvee Etrata, Kim Perez, Elijah Alejo, Ashley Ortega, Mariane Osabel, Faith Da Silva, Jayson Gainza, and Olive May. Over at the Unang Hirit studio, Angel Leighton, AZ Martinez, Kaloy Tingcungco, and Saviour Ramos took part in the repacking activities.
Operation Bayanihan continues its outreach to various areas across the country. Those who wish to support the initiative may donate through GMA Kapuso Foundation’s official bank accounts, GCash, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, Lazada, or Metrobank credit card channels.
