Misibis Bay Review: Luxury, Nature, and Unforgettable Memories in Albay

Tucked away on the scenic Cagraray Island in Albay, Misibis Bay is more than just a resort—it’s a full-on tropical experience.

I had the chance to stay here for Epson Fusion 16, and after three days filled with adventure, bonding, and breathtaking views, I can confidently say Misibis Bay delivers a luxurious yet soulful escape.

First Impressions. The journey from Bicol International Airport to Misibis Bay took a bit of time—roughly 90 minutes by land—but the scenery made up for it. The cherry on top? Mayon Volcano was in full view as we landed, a rare and stunning welcome that locals say means you have a pure heart or everlasting love. That moment alone set the tone for the rest of the trip.

Upon arrival, the resort’s lush greenery, crisp sea breeze, and inviting beach view made me feel like I had stepped into a tropical dream. The beachfront property is teeming with beauty, from its well-kept gardens to its calm turquoise waters.

Rooms & Comfort. Our accommodations were spacious, air-conditioned, and came with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end resort. I personally didn’t spend much time indoors because the beach and pool were calling, but it was comforting to know I had a cozy room to return to after a full day of activities.

Food & Dining. Throughout our stay, we were treated to delicious meals prepared by Misibis Bay’s kitchen. The local dishes like Laing and Bicol Express really stood out. And just when we were about to leave, the food somehow got even better—especially the nilagang baboy, which hit the spot after craving something warm and hearty for days.

Activities & Amenities. Day 2 of Epson Fusion was activity-packed and made full use of Misibis Bay’s beautiful grounds. From team games under the sun to beachside challenges like Coco-Loco Shots and Tangram Rush, we got to experience the resort’s more playful side. Even dancing the traditional Pantomina became a highlight—something I haven’t done in years!

During our free time, I went jetskiing (yes, solo!), swam in the sea, and forgot all about my scheduled massage—which just proves how much fun I was having. The water sports, pools, and spa options make it easy to mix relaxation with excitement.

The final night’s fire dancing show was nothing short of magical, set under the stars by the beach. It was the perfect way to end the evening.

Service & Staff. The staff were generally helpful and polite. Despite the size of the event, everything felt organized and smooth—from check-ins to dining and activity coordination. I especially appreciated how they managed to accommodate both structured group activities and individual preferences like massage schedules and sports rentals.

The resort’s setting naturally promotes an appreciation for the environment, and it’s great to see sustainable practices taking root in such high-end destinations. From proper waste handling to the potential for eco-tourism partnerships, Misibis Bay is moving in the right direction.

LionhearTV‘s Verdict. Misibis Bay is not just a vacation spot—it’s a multi-sensory experience. Whether you’re after quiet luxury, adrenaline-filled water sports, or a meaningful company event like Epson Fusion 16, this resort hits all the right notes.
