To commemorate their 20th major debut anniversary, acclaimed Japanese rock band RADWIMPS are thrilled to announce several exciting milestones: the release of their brand-new studio album, arriving October 8, and a new single “Meidai”, the theme song for NTV’s ‘news zero’, dropping July 23.

In addition, fans watch a special studio performance of “Tamamono”—the theme for NHK’s drama series Anpan.

The upcoming album will feature previously released “Tamamono”, the newly announced “Meidai”, and more new tracks to be revealed. To celebrate the occasion, RADWIMPS will also release a 20th Anniversary Special Box Set, which includes exclusive footage from the “Tamamono” studio performance on June 29, along with behind-the-scenes content and interviews. The set will also come with an original pouch filled with limited-edition anniversary goods. Pre-orders for the box will open in the coming weeks.

As if that weren’t enough, the band will also embark on the ‘RADWIMPS 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR’, bringing the celebration to life across nine major cities in Japan with 17 arena shows. This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans, so if you are in Japan, be sure to grab your tickets here before they’re gone!

To honour the 20th anniversary, the band will be releasing their past albums on vinyl. Kicking things off with ‘Batsu To Maru To Tsumi To’ from 2013 which will drop on May 7th, 2025, a new title will drop each month through September.
