The battle for primetime supremacy is getting tighter as GMA Network’s telefantasya drama “Sang’gre” inches closer to ABS-CBN’s action-drama teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)” in the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings.

On Monday, July 7, “Sang’gre” posted a solid 12.0%, just 1.5 points behind FPJBQ’s 13.5%. While still trailing, the Kapuso series showed signs of momentum.
However, the following day, July 8 saw a slight dip for “Sang’gre”, dropping to 11.5%, while FPJBQ climbed to 13.7%, widening the gap to 2.2 points.
Midweek Wednesday, July 9 brought a strong rebound for “Sang’gre”, rising to 12.2% and narrowing the margin to just 0.6 points against FPJBQ’s 12.8%.
The trend continued on Thursday, July 10, with “Sang’gre” holding steady at 12.2%, slicing the ratings difference to a razor-thin 0.3 points.
By Friday , July 11, “Sang’gre” climbed again to 12.4%, maintaining the close gap of 0.3 percent against FPJBQ which scored 12.7%.
After weeks of being overshadowed, “Sang’gre” is now back in fighting form. The question remains: is this a turning point for the Kapuso series, or just a temporary dip for its Kapamilya rival?
One thing’s clear—this ratings race is far from over.
