Wilbert Ross is setting the record straight about a bizarre rumor linking him to a supposed P1 million “booking” involving a popular international singer.
In our recent interview, the actor-singer laughed off the gossip, saying he was surprised his name was dragged into an online issue without any basis.
“Biglang na brought up yung pangalan ko out of nowhere sa parang issue na isang sikat na international singer na parang na ‘booked’ daw ako ng one night,” he recalled. “Sabi ko, ‘Ha? Si letter S?’ Saan nanggaling yun? Nakita ko sa mga comments sa Facebook, sa Reddit.”
According to Wilbert, he found the claim both ridiculous and unfounded.
“Deadma lang ako. Wala naman kaming any connection at all. Nakakatawa lang talaga. Nagtataka lang ako talaga saan nanggaling yun. Walang basis kung bakit na-mention yung pangalan ko,” he added.
