Neil Arce has given fans an update on the current happenings in the life of his wife, award-winning Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin.
In an interview aired on ‘TV Patrol’ on Wednesday night, August 13, 2025, Neil revealed that he has never asked Angel when she plans to return to showbiz.
“I haven’t asked her. No, I never asked her when she wants to come back kasi… I know she’s a very strong, independent woman and I married an alpha, a queen. And I respect that. Kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin, as long as nasa tama, she has my hundred-percent support,” he said.
Neil shared that Angel is currently enjoying her time as a gamer while taking online classes. “I think everyone knows she’s into gaming and she’s taking online classes. She’s enjoying herself. And we all know her dad just passed away. She’s taking her time. I’m giving her space to adjust,” he explained.
When asked for details about the classes, Neil admitted he isn’t familiar with them. “Sorry, pero hindi ko rin maintindihan kasi it’s about gaming. Hindi ako gamer. Of course, basta happy siya. I always ask her, ‘Are you happy?’ and alam ko naman yung totoo at hindi. She doesn’t lie to me.”
Fans of Angel were recently thrilled when she showed support for her stepson, Joaquin Arce, on Instagram. Joaquin, Neil’s son, has officially joined ABS-CBN’s Star Magic as one of its newest contract stars. Angel even expressed excitement at the thought of working with him in the future, sparking speculation about her own possible return to acting.
Neil understands the anticipation from fans—and shares it himself. “I’m her husband, lover, everything, and I’m also a fan. Deep inside, of course, I miss her on the screen. Pero siyempre, una yung pagka-husband—kung saan ka masaya,” he said.
