Barbie Forteza may be facing supernatural elements in her upcoming horror film ‘P77’, but the actress revealed she had her own real-life brush with fear — one that left her gasping for air.
During the press conference for ‘P77’, directed by Derick Cabrido and set for a July 30 theatrical release, Forteza was asked by LionhearTV whether she encountered any strange or eerie moments while working on the horror project.
“While filming P77, wala po!” she answered with a laugh.
However, the Kapuso star recalled a disturbing episode from a past project — not even a horror one — where she experienced sleep paralysis.
Forteza speculated that exhaustion played a role in the experience.
So, baka pagod nga siguro! Kaya binangungot ako!”
Despite starring in a horror film, Forteza admitted she’s easily spooked in real life.
“Hindi pa man pinapakita ang eksena, tumitili na ako!” she shared.
When asked what she’s afraid of the most, Forteza didn’t hold back: “Lahat ng kinatatakutan ko like clowns, rag dolls, mga old people, old man, sa horror house. Hahahaha!”
Still, she confessed she enjoys the thrill of getting scared.
‘P77’ also stars JC Alcantara, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, Rosanna Roces, Jackie Lou Blanco, Gina Pareño, and more.
Catch ‘P77’ in cinemas nationwide starting July 30.
