Bianca de Vera couldn’t hide her delight when she was called a “Little Anne Curtis” — a comparison that has been making the rounds on social media because of her resemblance to the Kapamilya superstar, especially during Anne’s early years in showbiz.

“Kinikilig ako kapag sinasabihan ako niyan. As in sobra, feel ko nabubuhay kaluluwa ko,” Bianca admitted during the grand media conference of ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’ on Wednesday, August 6. But the former ‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemate was quick to express humility: “But there can only be one Anne Curtis. And nobody can compare to her.”
In the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama — now airing on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Jeepney TV, and Kapamilya Online Live — Bianca plays the emotionally heavy role of Bella, alongside lead stars Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino.
“Role ko rito sobrang bigat. Kasi halos lahat iyakan,” Bianca shared, noting how essential her co-star Louise Abuel has been to her performance. “Lagi niya ako sinasalo. He always reminds me. It is such a pleasure to work with Louise. I remember the first scene we worked on together, after natulala ako. Totoo ba nakapagbatuhan ako linya sa kanya? He is really good. Up until now, grateful ako sa natutunan ko sa kanya. Even after during breaks, ang dami ko natutunan from his experience.”

Louise, for his part, also praised Bianca’s dedication and chemistry on screen. “Working with Bianca, sobrang pressured ako. Recently, never ako naka-experience ng love team. Never ko pa na-try. Hindi ako marunong magpakilig. Pero natutulungan niya ako. Mas mahirap magpakilig kaysa magpaiyak,” he admitted.
When asked how her time in ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ prepared her for acting, Bianca reflected on the tough lessons she learned inside the house.
“Lumakas sikmura ko. It was hard and tough inside. When I got evicted and returned, it was harder and it was tough. I did not realize how toxic the industry can be until PBB. If hindi ko napagdaanan PBB, obstacles, and lessons inside, I would not be prepared for the responsibilities in store for me,” she said.
