P-pop girl group BINI is set to file a legal complaint later today, August 18, after a controversial social media post alleged that one of its members has an active sex life.

Celebrity lawyer and film producer Atty. Joji Alonso announced the move on Instagram, sharing a cropped image of the complaint bearing the names of all eight members — Gwen, Aiah, Sheena, Mikha, Maloi, Jhoanna, Stacey, and Colet — listed as complainants.
While Alonso did not name the respondent, many netizens pointed to internet personality Xian Gaza, who previously posted on Facebook: “Gen Z, it’s okay to have sex as long as you use condoms to avoid getting pregnant. Especially to that member of BINI who likes to have sex.”
The post quickly drew outrage from fans and women’s rights advocates, who slammed it as “disrespectful” and “predatory.”
One fan wrote: “Ang taong gipit, sa BINI kumakapit! Calling on women’s rights organizations and BINI’s management to take appropriate legal action.”
Another added: “These are not his stories to tell. Predatory behavior hiding behind chismis culture needs to stop.”
As of now, neither BINI nor their management, Star Magic, has issued an official statement. The girl group recently performed their latest single ‘Shagidi’ at ABS-CBN’s Iisang Tahanan: Kapamilya Forever trade event.
