Rumors continue to swirl online that celebrity couple Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna have gone their separate ways, with some social media reports alleging that Ellen supposedly left their home months ago after a misunderstanding with Derek.
However, veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin debunked the speculation on her program Cristy Ferminute, calling the talk “fake news.”
“Mema lang ‘yan. Alam n’yo po, napakagandang mag-handle ng relasyon ni Derek Ramsay. At si Ellen Adarna, kitang-kita naman natin na talagang sumusunod naman siya,” Cristy said.
She added that the rumors had no basis: “Nag-check in lang sa hotel na mag-isa, hiwalay na? Nag-post lang si Derek na ‘kapag yakap kita—sabi kay Lily—humihinto ang ikot ng mundo. Ano ba ‘yan? Nakakaloka! Wala pong katotohahang ito. Hindi po totoo ‘tong mga kuwentong lumalaganap na ito. Maayos sila. ‘Yun lang.”
Amid the rumors, Derek is currently in Bali, Indonesia, where he is undergoing training for Kami No Ken, a wellness program focused on building balance and inner strength through daily rituals and discipline.
Sharing updates on Instagram, the actor admitted the training is “long and grueling” but said he looks forward to the experience. He also posted a screenshot of a Zoom call with his daughter Liana, captioning it with, “Papa will be home soon.”
As of writing, neither Derek nor Ellen has directly addressed the separation rumors. Still, Cristy Fermin insisted that the two remain together and that reports of their breakup are fabricated.
Derek and Ellen, who tied the knot in Bataan on November 11, 2021, have often shared glimpses of their family life online, though both have been less active on social media in recent months.
