Elijah Canlas is proving himself as one of the busiest and most versatile young artists of 2025.
At just 25, the Cornerstone Entertainment talent has already made his mark in film, television, theater, and music—and he shows no signs of slowing down.

At a press conference held on Wednesday, August 20, at Cornerstone Entertainment Studio in Quezon City, Elijah admitted that the year has been a whirlwind.
“I believe in hip-hop culture. You’re not a true MC, you’re not a true rapper, if you don’t write your own bars, if you don’t write your own verses,” he said as he teased the release of his debut full-length album under UMG, which expanded from six tracks to ten—all written by him.
On television, Elijah revealed that he will star in the upcoming TV5 series ‘Hello, Heaven’, where he plays the third wheel to the Julia Barretto–Enrique Gil love team. “I haven’t met Enrique yet, but I’ve worked with Julia a few times already since my girlfriend Miles [Ocampo] is close to her on Eat Bulaga,” he shared. The show, described as an inspirational teleserye, is set to begin production soon.
This comes on top of a staggering lineup of film projects this year, including ‘Salvage Land’ (the comeback movie of Richard Gomez), ‘EDJOP’ starring Jodi Sta. Maria, ‘Raging’, ‘KMJS: Gabi ng Lagim’, ‘Rehas na Gawa sa Puso’, and ‘Water Sports’, a short film featured in the 63rd New York Film Festival.
On stage, Elijah is also part of ‘Dagitab’, a theater adaptation of the 2014 Cinemalaya film, and will reprise his acclaimed role in the stage version of ‘About Us But Not About Us’, alongside Romnick Sarmenta and Epy Quizon, directed by Tuxqs Rutaquio.
Despite his workload, Elijah remains grounded—thanks in part to his relationship with actress Miles Ocampo. “Whenever I reward myself, she’s always there with me,” he said, sharing how they stay connected through simple dates, movie nights, and video calls.
He admitted Miles is also one of his most trusted voices when choosing projects: “From the beginning, she’s been someone I can lean on. She knows what’s good for me.”
Apart from acting, Elijah is focused on music, with his hip-hop-inspired debut album serving as his creative outlet. Known for blending poetry and storytelling, he sees his music as an extension of his cinematic artistry.

“Listening to his songs, one can sense how he bridges his love for poetry with his passion for storytelling,” Cornerstone described in a statement.
From ‘Hello, Heaven’ to indie films, from the stage to his upcoming music release, Elijah Canlas continues to prove why he’s Cornerstone Entertainment’s “Multimedia Force.” (with reports from Aldrine Benitez)
