Global sneaker retailer Foot Locker has officially opened its first reimagined store in the Philippines — and in Southeast Asia — at Rockwell’s Power Plant Mall in Makati on August 15.

Modeled after Foot Locker’s flagship along New York’s 5th Avenue, the new concept store offers a more elevated and intuitive shopping experience for sneaker enthusiasts. It is also the brand’s 19th branch in the country.
“This is more than just a place to shop, but a space to express yourself,” said Joseph Manlapaz, Foot Locker Philippines’ marketing manager, emphasizing that the store is designed to welcome both long-time sneakerheads and those just beginning to embrace sneaker culture.

The reimagined store highlights the latest drops right at the entrance, with dedicated sections for new releases and exclusive collections.
Aside from sneakers, the shop carries curated apparel, caps, accessories, and shoe care essentials. Key product displays guide shoppers in choosing the right pair, while a communal try-on area and customization hub — offering services like personalized lacing and dubraes — round out the premium experience.
To mark its grand opening, Foot Locker hosted a three-day celebration with brand partners Nike, adidas, and New Balance. Activities included sneaker customizations, an adidas claw machine with exclusive prizes, a New Balance grayscale photo booth, free shoe cleaning by Crep Protect, and even a Hoka Coffee Run.
Carrying a wide range of top brands such as Nike, adidas, Puma, Converse, Hoka, Asics, New Balance, and On, the Rockwell store continues Foot Locker’s mission of being a go-to sneaker destination for Filipinos.
Foot Locker Philippines is operated by MAP Active Philippines, a subsidiary of PT MAP Indonesia, a leading retailer of sports, fashion, and lifestyle products in the region.
