Started as a cloud kitchen in 2020 by Joey Marcelo, Julius Necor, and Leo Vergara, Gang Gang Chicken was born out of one simple customer insight: “’Di lang puro sauce, dapat may lasa rin yung loob.”
“We understood the pain point the customers of the then-existing brands were having,” co-founder Joey Marcelo explained. “So we introduced Gang Gang Chicken to solve that exactly.”
For Marcelo, quality was the focus from day one.
“Our goal today is to go national,” he said. “We want more Filipinos to experience our promise of REAL TASTE in every bite. Because really, that’s what we’ve focused on since day one. We never wanted to compromise on food quality.”

“We wanted to be known for our diversity in flavor options,” added co-founder Julius Necor, who brings a culinary background in high-end dining. “We make it a point to offer new flavors to our customers regularly to encourage them to try and explore something new every time they order Gang Gang Chicken.”
