Comedians Vice Ganda, MC Muah Calaquian, and Lassy Marquez put rumors of a falling-out to rest when MC and Lassy showed up at the opening night of Vice’s Super Divas concert with Regine Velasquez on Friday, August 8, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Spotting them in the audience, Vice couldn’t resist teasing her longtime friends.
“Bakit kayo nandito? Magagalit si Cristy Fermin,” Vice quipped. “Ang alam niya magkakaaway tayo. Sisirain n’yo ‘yung narrative. Mawawalan sila ng content. Bakit kayo nandirito?”
MC quickly replied, “Siyempre hindi namin pwedeng ma-miss ‘yung concert mo. ’Di ba?”
Vice, clearly happy about their presence, still kept the banter going. Holding MC’s hand, she joked, “Kahit busing-busy ang ating pangulo sa Malacañang, nandito siya. Mahal na pangulo, bumati ka naman.”
MC played along, greeting the crowd, while Vice turned her attention to Lassy.
“Because this is a time of loving, lahat tayo nagkakaisa, fresh from The Hague, bumati naman po kayo,” she teased, prompting more laughter from the audience.
@bossdrayber Iba talaga humor nila #superdivas
The jokes referenced a running gag among fans that MC resembles President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., while Lassy bears a likeness to former President Rodrigo Duterte.
The playful exchange drew cheers from the crowd, marking the first public moment the trio had shared in months following speculation of a rift. The rumors began after Vice called out MC’s behavior in a vlog during a Palawan trip—an incident that entertainment host Cristy Fermin discussed on her program. MC and Lassy’s absence from ‘It’s Showtime’ and Vice’s comedy bar further fueled the “friendship over” chatter.
But at Super Divas, it was all laughs and love—proving that, at least for now, the bond between Vice, MC, and Lassy is still very much intact. The Super Divas concert returns tonight, August 9, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, co-presented by local health app mWell.
