Speculations about Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay’s marriage once again flared up after netizens noticed that the actress had seemingly unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
On Sept. 5, eagle-eyed fans pointed out that Derek’s name was no longer visible on Ellen’s “following list,” though the actor still follows his wife. This fueled fresh rumors of trouble in their marriage, as netizens often regard Instagram activity as clues to possible rifts among celebrity couples.
Ellen, however, quickly debunked the rumors through her Instagram Stories. She shared a screen recording showing that she still follows Derek and explained that the issue may have been a glitch on the platform.
“Tigilan niyo na kami ha. Dami na fake news ekeklavooo,” she wrote.
“So I never unfollowed my husband. Ever. And I don’t know what’s happening here on my IG. When I search his name, I’m following him. But on my following list, he’s not there and I don’t know what’s up with IG… Ako rin nalito.”
The clarification comes after Derek earlier dismissed unfounded allegations of infidelity against Ellen.
Ramsay had recently returned from a retreat in Bali and reunited with his wife and their daughter, Liana, whom they welcomed in October 2024. The couple tied the knot in Bataan in 2021.
