Rising Viva loveteam Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji continue to capture fans’ hearts both on- and off-screen.
At the thanksgiving media conference of their hit series ‘Seducing Drake Palma’ held Monday, Sept. 29, at Viva Café, Cubao, the two shared candid reflections on their chemistry — including that viral kissing moment at the recent VivaRKada concert in Araneta Coliseum.

When asked if the kiss was scripted or spontaneous, Rabin admitted: “Actually, nasa script po ‘yun, pero talagang nadala kami sa isa’t isa. Ako, madala ako… Ikaw, nadala ka ba?” he said, turning to Angela.
The actress, blushing, smiled before softly replying, “Oo.”
Pressed further, Rabin recalled how the moment felt surreal: “Titigan lang po kami, eh. Parang siya lang po ‘yung nakikita ko sa buong Araneta… habang kumakanta kami, parang kami na lang dalawa talaga ang nasa buong Araneta.”
Their sweetness didn’t stop there. When asked to rate their friendship “from 1 to 10,” Rabin answered “9,” only for Angela to tease: “Kulang ng 1, kasi I’m the one he needs.”
From ‘Seducing Drake Palma’, the pair are now set to headline their first movie together — the Philippine remake of the 2012 Korean hit ‘A Werewolf Boy’, originally starred by Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young. The project serves as the launching film for the RabGel loveteam.
Rabin, a self-confessed fan of Song Joong Ki, shared his mix of nerves and excitement: “Matagal ko na pong ipinagdarasal na mabigyan ng acting piece talaga. Ngayon binigay ni Lord at ng mga boss, kaya gagawin ko ang lahat para makaarte.”
As preparation, Rabin revealed he immersed himself in films, series, and even prosthetic training to portray his werewolf character.
“Pinanood ko ‘yung A Werewolf Boy pero hindi buo, kasi kailangan may bago tayong ipakita. Ang daming preparations… apat na oras po akong nagpo-prosthetics,” he shared.
Filming begins this week, and both Rabin and Angela are hopeful that ‘A Werewolf Boy’ will mark another milestone in their blossoming partnership — on screen and beyond. (with reports from Loyd Pino)
