Speculation continues to swirl around the much-anticipated return of veteran TV host Willie Revillame, but recent reports suggest his negotiations with TV5 have hit a snag.

On the ‘Showbiz Now Na!’ YouTube program, Cristy Fermin, joined by Wendell Alvarez and Romel Chika, shared the latest developments regarding Revillame’s supposed primetime comeback.
According to her, Revillame has been in talks with TV5 executives but disagreements emerged over production responsibilities.
Wendell Alvarez noted that the blocktime arrangement wasn’t new to Revillame, remarking, “Magagawa niya ang gusto niya basta magbayad lang siya ng oras.”
However, Fermin said Revillame did not accept TV5’s terms and even retrieved equipment he had previously left at the network.
When asked if this meant his TV5 comeback was off the table, Fermin commented: “E para siyang nagtampo sa bigas, parang ganu’n.”
She added bluntly, “Oo, matigas ang ulo niya!
Despite this, Fermin did not close the door on a possible resolution: “Alam n’yo sa unang pag-uusap ay bigo, malay n’yo magkasundo naman sa susunod.”
At present, Revillame is reportedly in Singapore to take a break and reflect.
Back in July, it was announced that Revillame would return to TV5 before the end of 2025 with not just one but two programs: the revived ‘Wowowin’ and a new game show titled ‘Wilyonaryo.’
The latter, Revillame explained, was inspired by flipping the “M” in “milyonaryo,” with the promise of ₱1 million in daily prizes for lucky contestants.
