The entertainment industry is mourning the passing of Anna Feliciano, a respected choreographer and dancer best known for her work on several iconic Philippine noontime shows, including ‘Wowowin’ and ‘Magandang Tanghali Bayan’ (MTB).

Her death was confirmed through social media posts from friends, former colleagues, and dancers she mentored over the years. Many expressed their grief and gratitude for the woman whose artistry shaped the rhythm and energy of noontime television. The cause of her passing has not been made public.
Feliciano’s career spanned decades. She first gained prominence as the choreographer of the MTB Dancers on ABS-CBN’s defunct noontime show ‘Magandang Tanghali Bayan’. When ‘Wowowee’ replaced ‘MTB’ in 2005, she continued as head choreographer, introducing a new generation of performers known as the ASF Dancers—named after her initials, Anna Soriano Feliciano.
Beyond her dance routines, Feliciano became a trusted collaborator of host Willie Revillame, working alongside him as his programs transitioned from ABS-CBN to TV5, and later to GMA Network and ALLTV (AMBS).
Even after stepping down from ‘Wowowee’ months before its eventual reformat as ‘Pilipinas Win na Win’, Feliciano remained close to Revillame and was later invited back to work with him on future projects.
Known for her discipline, warmth, and passion for performance, Anna Feliciano inspired generations of dancers who saw in her both a mentor and a mother figure.
As one tribute beautifully put it: “Her rhythm, spirit, and devotion to the craft left an indelible mark on Philippine entertainment. May she find eternal rest and joy in the dance halls of paradise.”
Rest in peace, Anna Feliciano — a true icon of movement and music on Philippine television.
