Filipino actress-singer Belle Mariano has officially brought the Philippines to Hollywood as she made her debut on American television through FOX 11’s ‘Good Day LA,’ marking her first-ever appearance on a major U.S. morning talk show.

The young Kapamilya star appeared on the program to promote her upcoming film ‘Meet, Greet & Bye,’ which will hit Philippine cinemas on November 12, 2025, and premiere in U.S. and Canada theaters beginning November 14, 2025.
Coinciding with Filipino-American Heritage Month, Belle’s appearance was a proud moment not just for her career but for Filipino representation in mainstream American media.
Fresh from her performance at ‘ASAP in Vancouver 2025,’ Belle sat down with ‘Good Day LA’ host Amanda Salas, where she shared what drew her to the heartwarming family drama.
“When they pitched it to me, it talks about family, and, you know, I think, us, Filipinos really have a good sense of family values, and that’s what really caught my heart,” Belle said.
The 22-year-old actress also spoke passionately about what the film means to her and why it resonates deeply with Filipino audiences. “It means a lot. Most especially, I’m doing this movie, I feel like now it’s such a best time for us to just raise our flag and be a proud Pinay,” she shared.
Belle also reflected on the emotional message of the film: “I hope that once we watch this movie, we don’t take our loved ones for granted. I hope it brings us closer to one another and just put more value in one another.”

During the interview, she emphasized that ‘Meet, Greet & Bye’ carries a universal story that transcends culture and language. “It’s a universal story. I think a family’s love is universal; everyone can relate to it. A mother’s connection to their kids is something everyone can relate to,” Belle said.
The actress also expressed her gratitude to her fans abroad who welcomed her warmly upon her arrival in Los Angeles. “Some of them actually, you know, they wait so long for me. Like, even just going here in LA, some of them waited at the airport, and that really moves me, you know? And they’re the ones who’s been there for me ever since,” she said. “I started showbiz when I was nine, and, you know, throughout the duration of me being in the industry, I just saw their love and their support for me, and I’m forever grateful for them.”
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana—the filmmaker behind ‘Four Sisters and a Wedding and Seven Sundays’—’Meet, Greet & Bye’ follows the story of a mother battling cancer who decides to stop her chemotherapy. Her dying wish is to meet her favorite K-drama actor visiting Manila. Her four children then team up to fulfill her dream, on one condition: once she meets her idol, she must resume her treatment.
Belle plays Geri Facundo, the youngest of the four siblings, alongside an all-star cast including Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Juan Karlos, and Maricel Soriano, who portrays the ailing matriarch Baby Lopez-Facundo.
