Vice Ganda revealed that partner Ion Perez played a major role in pushing him toward a healthier lifestyle, sharing the story during their grand launch as the newest ambassadors of Belle Dolls by Beautéderm.
According to Vice, he previously lived an unhealthy routine.
“I sleep so late, I used to eat unhealthy food, I used to stress myself, I used to overwork myself, sobrang unhealthy talaga siya,” he said.
Vice explained that Ion expressed sincere concern over his habits and gradually encouraged him to change. “Kinakausap niya ako… ginagawa niya, tapos nakikita ko. Tapos ako mismo ‘yung nahihiya,” he added.
Vice said he observed Ion’s disciplined lifestyle—from food choices to exercise routines—and eventually decided to follow. “Kailangang itigil mo na ‘yang pagkain mo ng sobrang baboy, sobrang prito, sobrang mantika, ang lakas-lakas mo magkanin,” he quoted Ion as saying.
Ion also introduced Vice to regular workouts, including bringing him to the gym and buying a treadmill so they could exercise together.
“He has always been reminding me to take care of myself because it is a fact that we are not getting any younger,” Vice said, noting that better physical and emotional health helped him feel younger and more energized.
Ion, for his part, said his motivation was simple: “Bilang partner ko siya, siyempre, mahal ko siya, gusto ko siyang makasama nang matagal.”
Beautéderm president and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan said it was a “dream come true” to welcome Vice and Ion to the Beautéderm and Belle Dolls family. She added that the endorsement deal was long planned but only pushed through this year due to Vice’s schedule.
At the launch, Vice and Ion signed their contracts with Beautéderm and were introduced as endorsers of Belle Dolls’ glow-up drinks, including the new Black Coffee flavor, alongside existing Stemcell Juice, Collagen Juice, and Healthy Coffee products.
The couple recently marked their seventh anniversary, also featured in a vlog documenting their trip to Rizal. In the video, Vice and Ion spoke about prioritizing communication, giving each other space, and maintaining a supportive partnership.
“Who would’ve ever thought na magcecelebrate kami ng 7 years,” Vice said. “Hinahayaan lang namin na yung life na mag-unfold.”
Ion added: “Mas gusto ko na panatag siya… dapat gawin mo na yung ikabubuti ng relasyon niyo.”
