Vice Ganda responded to criticism from some Filipino fans of Thai singer-actor Jeff Satur after his comment on the performer’s Miss Universe 2025 appearance drew mixed reactions online.

Satur performed twice during the pageant’s coronation night in Thailand on November 21—once during the swimsuit round and again during the evening gown segment.
Reacting to the repeated appearances, Vice posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Ay juliet juliet ang performer ha! Sana nagsabi kayo para pinapunta ko jan si Stell!”
In gay lingo, “juliet juliet” means “ulit-ulit” or repeated. Vice also mentioned Stell Ajero, a member of SB19.
While many netizens found the tweet humorous, several fans of Jeff Satur took offense, interpreting the joke as disrespect toward the Thai artist.
One fan wrote: “Good afternoon… medyo nakaka-offend po ah? We’re a fan of Jeff Satur… proud nga kami na nandun si Jeff tas ididisrespect niyo lang po?”
Another commented: “not a good joke at all… be careful with your words.” “It came off a little low and honestly unnecessary… Jeff Satur is an incredible artist.” “Having one performer on stage throughout the show is common in MU… bringing up another artist felt disrespectful.”
Some SB19 fans also questioned why Stell was mentioned, with others saying the comparison was unnecessary.
Vice fired back, saying the misunderstanding came from the fan’s interpretation, not his intention: “Ha anong disrespect? I never said anything ill about the performer. It was you who chose to give it an ill meaning that’s why ur pissed.”
“So kung nabadtrip ka e desisyon mo un… Wag namang gawing big deal lahat ng joke!”
He added: “Did i say anything bad about him? Juliet juliet means inulit. Masama yun? Yung ka OA-yan mo ang unacceptable!”
Vice also reacted to other comments: “Grabe kung saan saan na umabot ung interpretation mo ghorl!!! Yan ang lalo mo ikakachaka yang pag gawa mo ng kakastressan!”
He later shifted the conversation back to Miss Universe, referring to the results: “Lang kwentang issue!!! Balik tayo kay Ahtisa! Di nya deserve ang 3rd runner up mga ulul! Di pa talaga ko tapos! Napuyat ako e. Chozzzzz!!!! Love you Ahtisa Manalo!”
Many users sided with Vice, saying the joke was aimed at the Miss Universe production, not at Jeff Satur.
Comments included: “wala naman sinabing di magaling yung performer. It’s an attack sa producers, di sa performer.” “juliet juliet means inulit… ang production ang inookray nya.” “This is not a criticism of the artists, but of the pageant organizers.”
Others noted that Miss Universe usually hires different performers for each segment, which may have prompted Vice’s reaction.
Jeff Satur is a well-known Thai singer-songwriter, actor, and producer, popular for hits like Why Don’t You Stay, Lonely, Fade, and DUMDUM. He rose to international fame through the Thai BL series ‘KinnPorsche’, where he played the role of Kim.
