Ambrossia PH, a new luxury Greek-inspired dining destination built on the vision of offering world-class cuisine with Filipino warmth, officially opened on December 8, 2025, in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The restaurant aims to redefine the local fine dining experience by combining refined culinary craftsmanship with heartfelt hospitality.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Mr. Armarjay Abundo and Mrs. Catherine Abundo, Ambrossia PH traces its beginnings to a shared passion for exceptional food and the belief that elevated dining should feel welcoming, not exclusive or intimidating. What began as a simple dream grew into a full culinary concept shaped by collaboration with some of the country’s most respected chefs.

“Ambrossia is designed to be a place where people feel valued from the moment they walk in,” the founders said. “Fine dining should be memorable and meaningful, but also warm and personal.”

A Culinary Destination Rooted in Storytelling

Ambrossia PH blends artistry and hospitality, offering guests a dining experience that honors both global techniques and Filipino heritage. The restaurant’s menu features sophisticated plates and signature creations crafted with precision and cultural depth.

Kurobuta Crispy Pata à la Pobre

Urduja’s Pinakbet

Avocats aux Crevettes, a dish originally served to the former King and Queen of Oman

Its Premium Degustation Menu showcases multi-course tastings built around Ambrossia’s philosophy of storytelling through food, celebrating ingredients, craft, and Filipino identity.

Guests may also enjoy a curated beverage program featuring signature cocktails, mocktails, and a selection of premium wines and spirits.

Celebrating Filipino Talent in the Kitchen

Ambrossia PH brings together a powerhouse culinary team whose experience spans global kitchens, cruise-line fine dining, and heritage Filipino cuisine.

Chef Anthony Ang, the restaurant’s Culinary Consultant and menu strategist, leads the development of Ambrossia’s story-driven plates. Known for his precision and modern approach to Asian flavors, Chef Ang helped refine signature dishes such as the Kurobuta Crispy Pata à la Pobre, elevating familiar Filipino profiles through global techniques.

Chef Maclin, the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine, brings years of international cruise-line experience, contributing sophisticated plating and world-inspired interpretations to Ambrossia’s fine dining selections. His expertise shapes dishes within the Premium Degustation lineup, focusing on balance, texture, and contemporary execution.

Chef Ruben Ignacio Jr., widely known as “The Singing Chef,” adds a creative touch through his flair for modern Filipino artistry. He lends his signature style to heritage-focused plates such as Urduja’s Pinakbet, reimagining classic Filipino vegetables and flavors through refined culinary craftsmanship.

Chef Cesar Aguilar, celebrated for crafting iconic Filipino dishes, brings depth to Ambrossia’s comfort-driven menu. His mastery of traditional Filipino recipes contributes to favorites like the Classic Pork Ribs, prepared with slow-cooked techniques and bold local flavors.

Rounding out the team is Chef Pablo “Boy” Logro, a legendary Filipino Executive Chef whose royal kitchen experience includes serving international dignitaries and global leaders. His influence is reflected in elite menu offerings such as the Avocats aux Crevettes, a dish once served to royalty and now presented at Ambrossia as part of its elevated dining program.

Together, these chefs combine technical expertise, cultural pride, and creative innovation, positioning Ambrossia PH as a leader in refined cuisine and a champion of Filipino culinary representation.
